This advertisement uses acclaimed feature film director Wes Anderson's unique and recognizable style in order to sell Stella Artois. It features heavy use of wood and earth tones, and has a "classy" feel overall. The short narrative paints the protagonist as a sophisticated man, an image and label that Stella Artois tries to identify with through the commercial. The last shot shows a city filled with European architecture, yet another visual feature used to link the product with the high class.

The overall image of Stella Artois differs widely between the United Kingdom and the United States (where this advert was aired). In England, the beer has somewhat of a negative connotation of being cheap and poorly mass produced, as well as being associated with the lower and middle class. In the States, however, this connotation is not commonplace, and Stella Artois is typically viewed as more of a specialist import beer, and is seen as high class already. This commercial attempts to further that.

He has developed a unique style through his films that translates to short form advertisement very well.
